Kings Transit to receive $5.1 Million through Canada Public Transit Fund

What a morning! Kings-Hants MP Kody Blois announced that the Government of Canada is committing to giving the Kings Transit Authority more than $5.1 million through the new Canada Public Transit Fund. The funding will be granted in yearly payments delivered from 2026 until 2036. Mayor Dave Corkum, Chair of Kings Transit’s Board, joined MP Blois in making the announcement. Kings Transit is supported by the Municipality of the County of Kings, Town of Berwick, Town of Kentville and Town of Wolfville as owners and the Municipality of the County of Annapolis and Municipality of the District of Digby as service partners.
