It was quite concerning to see motorists that were passing this snow plow, located in the first photo, which was operating on Highway 101 just passed the Greenwich exit this morning.
People are honestly in too much of a hurry, while this operator was working to clear the non passing lane and part of the fast lane, vehicles were crossing the centre yellow line just to get past the plow.
This isn’t only unsafe for oncoming motorists but extremely dangerous and unsafe for those working to maintain our roads.
There have been so many complaints online about the road conditions and it’s frustrating to see when you see the unsafe driving of those around public works.
Many operators across the province haven’t had a break this week, working to clear snow.
It is winter and we have had some very negative temperatures, which is making for some extremely challenging conditions for public works employees.
