Yesterday evening, Kingston Firefighters pushed their brand-new tanker into its home.
This one of a kind looking truck in Kings County will be serving the Kingston Fire Department and surrounding communities.
Built and manufactured by Acres Emergency Vehicles in Manitoba. This 2024 Acres Torrent was built on a Peterbilt Chassis.
There are 2500 imperial gallons on board, including its 1250 Gallons Per Minute Pump, two side dump tanks and a rear swivel dump shoot.
The apparatus also has a mount for a deck gun on the top, with a bed for high volume hose and multiple compartments for equipment.
