Back in August I shared a Go Fund Me page for fellow firefighter Shawn O’Brien, after he suffered a serious workplace injury.
It’s not often I have the opportunity to share these good stories.
After months in hospital Shawn returned home only two weeks ago.
We surprised him and his wife Denise with a big cake at our monthly firefighter and family breakfast at the Waterville & District Volunteer Fire Department.
Shawn turns 51 tomorrow and the family here at the fire station are all happy to see him back around and healthy.
